Cimarron is proud to announce Luke Trotter has been named Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Luke will lead Cimarron’s corporate financial operations, advise the board of directors and oversee a broad range of strategic initiatives to support the grow trajectory of Cimarron.

Having been apart of the Cimarron organization, formerly as Executive Vice President of Strategic Finance, Luke has a great understanding of Cimarron and has been instrumental in supporting the successful growth of the company. Additionally, Luke has extensive experience in mergers & acquisitions and capital markets, having previously served on the Aerospace, Defense & Government Services investment banking team at Jeffries.

Cimarron is please to announce that its subsidiary, Watring Technologies, has been awarded a contract with the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (Shield) program. This multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract represents a significant range services and an opportunity to leverage the great capabilities of Watring Technology in support of the MDA. As an organization that has supported MDA for over 25 years, Watring Technology is honored to continue supporting vital programs for our country’s defense.

Cimarron is excited to announce the appointment of James (Jim) Chilton to Cimarron’s Board of Directors. Jim has deep aerospace experience and is a respected leader working at the forefront of national space and weapons systems programs. He spent over four decades leading multiple businesses to success and has developed extensive relationships across Industry, The Pentagon, NASA, and Congress. Jim holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Washington State University and a master’s degree from the Florida Institute of Technology. Cimarron CEO Jeannie Crowell said, “Cimarron is honored to have someone of Jim’s background and expertise join the Board. Jim is a perfect fit for us as we rapidly grow our business.”

Cimarron is pleased to announce the appointment of Dean Driskell as an advisor to Cimarron’s Board of Directors. With more than 30 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, reporting, and financial management, Dean is a financial expert who has provided technical analyses, accounting/restatement assistance, valuation services, and litigation support across a variety of industries, including oil and gas, health care, utilities, construction, insurance, chemicals, manufacturing, and various service entities. Dean holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Auburn University and a master’s degree from Georgia State University. Jeannie Crowell, CEO of Cimarron, remarked, “Mr. Driskell's strategic insights and financial acumen will be instrumental in guiding Cimarron through its future endeavors.”

Cimarron is excited to be a part of the US Space Force’s program known as R2C2, short for Rapid Resilient Command and Control. Cimarron is thrilled to be part of the SAIC team awarded the NASA Safety and Mission Assurance Engineering Contract III (SMAEC). Cimarron is thrilled to announce a significant contract award as part of the KBR team for NASA's Integrated Mission Operations Contract III (IMOC III). This achievement at Johnson Space Center highlights our dedication to advancing spaceflight, including both space station operations and Artemis missions. Cimarron is proud to announce it has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013 re-certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS). Cimarron’s ISO/IEC 27001:2013 re-certification is valid for the next three years. Cimarron initially received its certification in July 2019.

Cimarron is proud to announce the acquisition of Watring Technologies, Inc., a Huntsville, Alabama, technology-based design and manufacturing company specializing in custom hardware and turnkey solutions. Founded in 1997, Watring Technologies’ primary support is in Aerospace and Defense. Their capabilities include hardware integration, testing, and product development. With this acquisition, Cimarron gains substantial capability in both expanded service and product offerings.

Congratulations to Sara Wise who was presented a Cimarron Innovation Award in recognition of her innovative thinking, which led to the implementation of an integrated production schedule tool. This new tool allows the team to identify and remedy scheduling constraints further in advance.

Congratulations to Lupe Cummings who was presented a Cimarron Innovation Award in recognition of her tool innovation which modified a commercially purchased goniometer to reduce time spent verifying connector clocking. This new shop aide for connector clocking provides production and quality personnel with an accurate method to determine connector keyway orientation. This tool has been recommended to be used at other customer sites and harness suppliers.

Cimarron is excited to be part of the United Launch Alliance (ULA) team selected as a launch provider for the U.S. Space Force’s National Security Space Launch (NSSL) Phase 2 procurement. Cimarron is proud to provide engineering support for several ULA programs, including @ulalaunch’s Vulcan Centaur team. The team's work on #VulcanCentaur will help keep our nation safe, and our work on #Artemis will return Americans to the moon.

Cimarron opened a new Colorado Regional office at 9137 E Mineral Circle, Suite 210 in Centennial, Colorado.

Cimarron opened a new Oklahoma Regional office at 2601 Liberty Parkway, Suite 225 in Midwest City, Oklahoma.

Cimarron is proud to announce it has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS). The ISO/IEC 27001 standard ensures that an organization has established policies and a framework of business and IT procedures to help identify, manage, and reduce information security risks. Cimarron’s certification was issued by DNV GL - Business Assurance, an accredited third party certification body, upon its successful completion of an extensive 2 part audit process. Cimarron passed the audit on its first attempt with no major findings and one notable mention for our IT Strategic Plan as an excellent planning document. Cimarron’s ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification is valid for the next three years. This reflects an outstanding achievement and demonstrates Cimarron’s commitment to quality management, managing risks, and protecting data on behalf of the company, its employees, and its customers.

Cimarron has expanded our Houston operations by opening a new program office at 1300 Hercules, Houston, Texas.

Cimarron employee Quinn Larson was selected by Cimarron's customer as Houston Commercial Crew Transportation System (CCTS) September 2019 Employee of the Month.

Sam Schnuer was honored with the prestigious NASA Silver Achievement Medal on July 16, 2019. Sam was one of three CI2/CRONUS TS21 leads who was presented the award by NASA Division Chief Paul Felker. Sam and his colleagues were recognized for being instrumental towards facilitating the transition from the legacy SSTF simulator to TS21, allowing FOD to officially retire the SSTF and conduct all future ISS training on the TS21 simulator. The NASA Silver Achievement Medal is awarded to Government and non-Government individuals or teams by NASA Center Directors for a stellar achievement that supports one or more of NASA's Core Values, when it is deemed to be extraordinarily important and appropriate to recognize such achievement in a timely and personalized manner.

Cimarron employee Thao Ho was selected by Cimarron's customer as Houston Commercial Crew Transportation System (CCTS) December 2019 Employee of the Month.

Cimarron employees John Pike, Kevin Courson, Ed Bourne, Dominic Cappello, and Zach Brandon were part of a Boeing/Cimarron team on the Boeing CST-100 Starliner program that was honored with a CCTS Innovation Award. The team proposed and implemented a modification of Spacecraft 2's back shell to facilitate intact removal of the parachute system. The idea was implemented on Spacecraft 2 and is being replicated on Spacecraft 1 and Spacecraft 3.
