Orion CEV

larger textsmaller text

In August 2006, NASA selected Lockheed Martin to build the vehicle that will take the next generation of explorers to the Moon, then Mars and beyond. Launching in the early-mid years of the next decade Orion (part of the Constellation Program) will take the reigns from the Space Shuttle Program and pick up where the Apollo program left off. Orion will carry our astronauts into the future of space exploration and the history books of mankind. Our next generation of explorers will venture into the vastly undiscovered frontier of space where man has never been and for today can only dream of.

Cimarron is proud to be teamed with Lockheed Martin on this historic effort. Cimarron engineers are currently assisting with the requirements development for CEV engineering labs, developing the testing processes to ensure the vehicle simulations meet program requirements, specifying requirements for the lab network and other support tools, and providing specialty engineering services. Additionally, Cimarron is providing the CEV Information Management Database which will manage engineering data for the development team.

As NASA moves forward in their vision for Space Exploration, Cimarron is poised and ready to provide uncompromising support to the Orion Team and the future of Human Space Flight.
