Using The District Planner you can:

  • Compile information and data from your campus improvement plans for district-wide reports and graphs
  • Correlate your district goals with No Child Left Behind (NCLB/ESEA) Goals and Indicators, State Goals, State Objectives, Effective School Correlates, Title I - Schoolwide Programs, and Title I - Targeted Assistance Schools
  • Provide a way to organize and set forth a quality plan of action
  • Help examine data from the AEIS indicator system
  • Assist in targeting overall district needs
  • Present data in easy-to-read graphs and charts

In a fraction of the time you normally spend creating a district improvement plan, The District Planner by Cimarron will help you produce a plan that correlates your goals to state, and national goals. The District Planner examines data from the Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS), targets specific TAKS objectives for improvement and provides the tools needed to conduct a perceived needs assessment of your district.

The District Planner is a unique software tool that assists in a step-by-step process to produce a comprehensive district improvement plan which meets the requirements for a Texas Education Agency Accreditation visit.

The District Planner also provides guidance for a quality needs assessment and will help formulate goals and objectives. It also includes a method of monitoring progress toward established district goals.
