Vice President | Business Development - Robert Campbell
In 2007, Rob Campbell joined Cimarron as a Manager for Cimarron's Business Development. Rob took the lead of Cimarron Business Development in January 2008, and has been instrumental in capturing work for Cimarron in several NASA contracts which include: FDOC, Orion, CSSS, and COTS.
As Cimarron's Vice President of Business Development, Rob is directly responsible for the management of Cimarron's Business Development team and for the development and implementation of Cimarron's corporate business development and strategic growth plans.
Prior to joining Cimarron, Rob spent over 12 years in the United States Air Force performing duties including personnel officer, logistics officer and pilot. Rob was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force after graduating from Auburn University with a Bachelors of Science in Aviation Management. Rob began flying for the Air Force in 1998 and has over 1000 hours in several aircraft to include the F-16, F-16CJ, T-38, AT-38B, AT-38C and T-37. While stationed with the 77 Fighter Squadron, Shaw AFB, SC, Rob flew the F-16CJ in several combat missions during OPERATION NORTHERN WATCH patrolling the skies over Iraq. Additionally, Rob was airborne hours after the September 11, 2001 attacks patrolling the skies over the Southeast United States as part of OPERATIONS NOBLE EAGLE. He also spent 2 years as a member of the Air Force's F-16 East Coast Demonstration Team. Performing duties as safety pilot and narrator, Rob highlighted the USAF and the F-16CJs capabilities to over 5 million people around the globe. He finished his Air Force career as an Instructor Pilot and Assistant Operations Officer with the 49th Fighter Training Squadron at Moody AFB, Georgia.
