2004 NASA Woman Owned Business of the Year
Cimarron was named NASA's Woman Owned Business of the Year during NASA's 13th Annual Minority Business and Advocates Awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. on September 9, 2004. Cimarron was presented the award in recognition of outstanding performance, entrepreneurial spirit and unique commitment in providing support to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
Cimarron CEO Rosalind Doyle was awarded the NASA Public Service Medial during the annual NASA Honor and Presidential Rank Awards Presentation held at the Johnson Space Center on September 17, 2004. The ceremony recognized distinguished individuals and groups for their outstanding contributions to the space program.
2004 NASA JSC Mentor/Protégé of the Year
Cimarron and Boeing were awarded JSC's Mentor/Protégé of Year 2004 during an awards ceremony at the Government Procurement Connections conference at the George R. Brown Convention Center on March 31, 2004. The award was presented to Boeing and Cimarron in recognition of their successful participation as a NASA Mentor and Protégé for the year 2004.
2003 NASA JSC Subcontractor of the Year
For an unprecedented second year in a row, Cimarron has been named JSC Subcontractor of the Year. NASA JSC Office of Procurement Director Randy Gish presented the award to Cimarron Program Manager Ron Kirchoff and Business Development Director Chad Brinkley during an awards ceremony at the Government Procurement Connections 2003 event at the George R. Brown Convention Center on April 9, 2003. Cimarron was presented the award "in recognition of excellent support in the development of the in-flight software provided to the Boeing Space Communications Company for the International Space Station Contract."
2002 NASA JSC Subcontractor of the Year
Cimarron was named JSC Subcontractor of the Year 2002 on April 2nd. NASA JSC Office of Procurement Director Randy Gish presented the award to Cimarron CEO Rosalind Doyle during an awards ceremony at the Government Procurement Connections 2002 event at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Cimarron was presented the award "in recognition of excellent support in the development of the in-flight software provided to the Boeing Space Communications Company for the International Space Station Contract."
2002 Boeing Supplier of the Year (Aerospace Support)
Cimarron received the prestigious Supplier of the Year Award in the Aerospace Support category for software engineering services in support of the International Space Station (ISS) for Boeing NASA Systems.
The company-wide Boeing Supplier of the Year award recognizes a select group of the many outstanding suppliers that bring their knowledge, experience, talent and leadership to bear on the success of the entire Boeing enterprise. Winning suppliers in each category were selected on statistical measurements of quality, on-time delivery, post delivery support and cost.
Winner of the 2002 NASA Goldin-Stokes Mentor Protégé Award
Named after former NASA administrator Daniel Goldin and former U.S. Representative Louis Stokes, the annual award is NASA's highest honor on a national level for contractors who participate in NASA's Mentor-Protégé program. This program is NASA's premier technical and business developmental effort that teams prime contractors with emerging, high technology businesses to form a mentor-protégé relationship. The partnerships provide resources for participating companies, which speeds up product development and increases new business opportunities in their respective target markets, including contracts with government agencies, such as NASA and other prime contractors. Thirty other companies are involved in the Mentor-Protégé effort. Qualifications for the Goldin-Stokes award include participation in the program for a minimum of one year. Additionally, winning teams must demonstrate progress in areas that exceed the goals stated in the agreement.
